My Design Process

Most web designers start somewhere in the middle of these steps. I want to start at the first step and find out what your goals are and let that drive the process forward.

This is where I'll ask a lot of great questions to create a comprehensive checklist of everything you need in a new website and make sure I understand exactly what it is you're trying to achieve. It might even seem like I am asking far too many questions. But it is important to get as much information as I can to do my job right.

After I gather all of the information I need, I'll build a visual map of the site. This helps to get us on the same page quickly about what it is you are trying to communicate and the best way to structure the information.

Next I am going to show you a basic version of your site as a prototype. I will put all of the building blocks on the pages and start to organize some of the information to make sure I am heading in the right direction and demonstrate that my solution will work.

Once we have the prototype nailed down, I get out the crayons, glue, and glitter to make sure that your site is beautiful.

After a few more weeks of design and cleaning up the details, you'll have a chance to test out your brand new website, then I will launch it into the world!
